Our Programs
Better Me (Counseling)
A “Better Me” provides a safe place for young ladies to focus on themselves. It’s an opportunity to explore your strengths and weaknesses, examine challenges, and learn how to overcome obstacles in a healthy and supportive environment free from judgment and the pressures of family and friends. This freedom creates the chance for group members to understand their feelings and work together to address issues, at a pace that makes sense and feels comfortable for you.
Topics discussed include:
Strategies to reduce anxiety, stress, depression, and self-doubt
Help to develop safe, healthy coping skills to better address difficult life changes.
Provide tools to improve self-esteem and gain a sense of belonging, competence, self-worth, and responsibility
To examine our core values, learn to establish healthy boundaries, and set obtainable goals
Guidance in learning how to manage emotions and control impulsive behaviors, to better communicate with family, friends, peers, and authority figures.
We have lots of creative ways to work together. In addition to “Talk Therapy”, we utilize worksheets, role play, art, music, videos, and games within our confidential group sessions.
Come, let us help you become a BETTER YOU!

academic support and engagement
Homework Assistance is provided by a S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) tutor along with Phenomenal She mentors. We provide support with academics by assisting with homework completion. In addition to providing encouragement and motivation around academics. Both tutors and mentors regularly check-in with mentees about their grades, and provide resources to achieve academic success.
We strive to create an environment where our girls not only enjoy what they learn but they implement the tools given that will enhance their regular classroom experiences. If there are no homework assistant needs, the tutor provides a curriculum designed around S.T.E.M. subjects. Phenomenal She holds an accountability measure to support and promote graduating on time.
