MEET OUR LANGUAGE AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP CLUB INSTRUCTOR ANASTASCIA!

Ana is a relatively recent transplant to the Pacific Northwest, having spent her formative years in Southern California and relocating during the pandemic.

As a first-generation college entrant from a single-parent household, she was guided in obtaining mentorship and academic support from organizations like AVID and Upward Bound that aided her early successes, most notably the San Diego Padres Foundation who selected her for their scholarship program in middle school after winning a series of timed essay competitions and interviews.

Ana now utilizes her education in media, French, and psychology to stay aligned with and enhance educational and community-strengthening causes. She has volunteered for multiple social justice, arts education, faith-based, and underserved youth causes over the past decade, twice receiving the President’s Volunteer Service Award. She is also an author who enjoys traveling in her downtime and reflecting on her multicultural experiences through her writing (14 countries, and counting!). Ana is tri-lingual and holds a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management.

Quote that she lives by:

“We are all here for a reason on a particular path, you don’t need a curriculum to know that you’re part of the math” – J. Ivy
