Phenomenal She’s S.T.E.A.M. Summer Program

Program Blurb

Young women are invited to participate in a highly experiential and comprehensive summer program that exposes students to various art and science disciplines. In this program, students will explore the range of college degrees and career opportunities available in science and art. Students will engage in hands-on activities that will hopefully help develop their understanding of the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.). In addition, this program will ignite students’ curiosity and appreciation towards S.T.E.A.M. and helps students determine their passions and interests.

Program Description

The S.T.E.A.M. program will run four days a week for six weeks starting June 24, 2024, to August 2, 2024. Due to varying program instructor availability, the program’s daily times may change week to week. Students can expect to participate in the program for a minimum of four hours every day.

The final week of the program will culminate in a one-day celebration event, called S.T.E.A.M. Symposium. Each student will give a brief presentation on a specific topic of interest related to the S.T.E.A.M. disciplines covered in the program. Family and friends are encouraged to attend as we celebrate the students’ achievements. Please note that the final week of programming (week of July 29th) will be five days long (Monday to Friday) due to the S.T.E.A.M. Symposium finale.
